How do I craft an Automatic Link, and what is it good for?

We organize ReaderLinks around the individual book, which means all of our reporting and links start there. Please do the following:

1.At the top of the AHS page, hover over ReaderLinks and choose "Use Automatic Link Creation Tool"
2. Click on the orange button
3. Fill in the "Where are you putting this link?" field with the site where you're placing this link. (i.e. back matter, Facebook ad, etc.). For the sake of this example, let's say you want to put the link in your back matter.
4. Leave the next drop-down on Amazon
5. Choose "Book Series Page" from the "What page will it land on?" drop-down menu.
6. Add any affiliate codes you want to add
7. Click the "Save link design" button

You now have a series link for all of your books in all series. This link will appear in every book's link list. It will take the customer from your back matter to the Amazon book series page.

We designed our link system this way so that you can craft links once for each business goal and then track the performance of the links on a per book basis.
