How do I upload ACX sales and royalties reports?

How do I upload ACX sales and royalties reports?

The Author Helper Suite accepts Audible (ACX) sales reports. Note that there is no daily information because ACX does not provide daily breakdowns in their monetary reports. Therefore, all ACX sales data is saved as the last day of the month for the report. This means that it can only be shown on a monthly basis in the year view.

Grabbing your Audible reports is pretty painless.

Step 1: Jump over to the ACX sales dashbaord: https://www.acx.com/sales/dashboard

That will land you on the reports page. You may need to sign in to ACX first, of course.

Step 2: NOTE: This process changed in July 2024 but you can still get the correct file format by following these steps. Click on the Insights link on the left side of the page.

Step 3: Click on Earnings Statements and choose the month for the report you’re looking to download.  Then, choose the XLS link for Royalty Report and, if available, the Bounty Report. Make sure to download them to a spot you can easily find on your computer.

Step 4: Go back to the Author Helper Suite and click the Upload Income Report button. Then choose the file you just downloaded from ACX.

Note: If you download both the Royalty Report and the Bounty Report, you will need to upload them separately. AHS can only ingest one report at a time.

Step 5: Select the “This Year” or “Last Year” option on the filter at the top of the page.
Step 6: Scroll down to the report charts section of AHS. In the summary table you can see the number of items sold for the timeframe selected. If you hover over one of the months in the chart, you can see the Audiobooks dollar amount listed there.

Note: If you assign the audiobooks on the AHS Audiobooks page, you’ll also be able to see sales figures for your audiobooks on a per-book basis. Click here for details on assigning audiobooks to books.
